She Art: Golden Grace 

 It’s been nearly a decade since my last She Art class — and this one feels like a homecoming.

Golden Grace is a celebration of light after shadow, softness after strength, and the beauty that comes from beginning again.

In this mixed media workshop, we’ll create MANY soulful She Art Girls, each one a reflection YOU.. in this chapter of your beautiful life 

This workshop  has so much content, it's broken into two parts. 

In part one we ease into the workshop with creating loose sketches of girls onto watercolor, mixed media and graph paper. I go over the different mediums I like to use to sketch: pencil, stabilo, charcoal, & oil pastel. Then we fill in these sketches with color using watercolor and mixed media techniques.

In part two we move our girls to canvas and wood. We create several prints using Gelli Plate techniques and then use those prints to collage our She Art Girls.  We also create girls using modeling pastes, gold foiling, air dry clay and more.  I’ll walk you through each step as we layer meaning, texture, and story into the canvas.

There is SO much content in this workshop, that it will be broken down into two parts!

This class carries a sacred stillness — a reminder that even after seasons of change, our light never leaves us, we only need to find it again and again as many times as we need. That to take things slow, and in flow, and in ease and in grace, comes the most beautiful healing in art.
