The Boot Series Watercolor Workshop- 

 The Boot Series Watercolor Workshop is a playful, inspiring, 3-part creative experience where you’ll learn how to sketch, paint, and bring your drawings to life using watercolor, mixed media, and doodling.

This workshop is filled with over 30 videos, giving you everything you need to create your own sketchbook full of whimsy and expressive watercolor art.

PART ONE — Gathering Inspiration & Sketching Your Girls

In part one, we begin by gathering inspiration from everyday life and your creative world.

You’ll learn how to:

• Find and collect inspiration images from Pinterest, magazines, social media & real life
• Print and tape these images into your sketchbook for reference
• Build a Boot Series inspiration journal
• Sketch boots, faces, hairstyles, outfits & poses using my favorite simple sketching techniques
• Use my favorite sketching tools for easy, confident lines EVEN For beginners! 

 Part One all about play, style exploration, and building your creative reference library.

PART TWO — Watercolor Techniques for Painting Your Girls

Part two is where we bring your sketches to life!

You’ll learn my favorite easy watercolor techniques for painting expressive, loose, whimsical characters and all the different types of watercolor mediums I love to use

 We explore:

• Layering watercolor for dimension
• Creating soft, dreamy blends
• Painting skin tones, clothing, boots & hair
• Using watercolor mediums, I love
• Keeping watercolor fun, approachable, and stress-free

 This week is pure watercolor joy.

PART THREE — Doodles, Finishing Details & Mixed Media Magic

 In our final week, we add personality, texture, and signature details to your pieces.

You’ll learn how to:

• Use my favorite doodle pens, markers & line techniques
• Create rich background textures using:
  
• stamps
• rub-ons
• salt
• bubble wrap
• and more!
• Mix acrylic & alcohol markers into your watercolor work
• Add soft pastels for color, warmth & highlights
• Finish your paintings with depth, movement, and charm
